The Timeless Timber™ Story
Timeless Timber™ creation has been crafted by skilled wood workers from virgin, old-growth timber that has been hidden under water for generations. Much of this timber started as a seeding before Columbus set foot in the New World, over 500 years ago.
These hardwoods matured very slowly under the canopy of the dark and crowded evergreen forests. Competing for sunlight and water, most trees grew at a snail’s place accumulating 40-50 annual growth rings per inch. Tight growth rings mean fine-grained, exceptionally colored wood collectibles.
In the mid 1800’s rugged lumberjacks felled millions of trees and floated them to lumber mills for processing. Many of these logs became water-logger and sank o the bottom. They would lay in frigid waters for more than 125 years.
It is now the 2000’s. Timeless Timber™ finds this cache of timber deep under the cold waters of the Great Lakes and historic waterways. They discover, to their amazement, that once recovered and dried, these logs offer wood of rare, exceptional quality and beauty. All logs are 100% reclaimed, environmentally conscious hardwood.
Today with only 2% of these hardwoods remaining uncut, it is possible wood of this quality may never be harvested again. This Timeless Timber™ treasure is truly a priceless heirloom to be enjoyed and treasured for generations to come!
